Welcome Sitel Call Center Workers!
Our goal of forming a union at your workplace is to build support around the issues
by getting everyone involved and letting our ideas and concerns be heard by
management with one united voice.  Please take a look at the issues listed below
that your co-workers have told us they want addressed with management:

  • Some of the Lowest hourly wages for Call Center Workers in the Country.
  • Inadequate yearly cost of living increases.
  • Arbitrary application of "company policies".
  • Disciplinary procedures applied based on favoritism.

The actions of management in the last few days shows we have gotten their
attention.  Notice how they are trying to scare you with letters telling you unions
can't help you and management telling you how Sitel is the greatest place to work
because they treat their workers so well.  All of a sudden they are paying attention to
and fixing the things workers have been complaining about for weeks.

Make no mistake, the only reason the you're getting so much attention from
management lately is because workers are finding out that working together as a
union gives them more leverage to make positive changes in their workplace than
trying to get their voice heard alone.

Sure, they'll tell you the union can't do anything for you and they might even try to
claim, you may end up with less.  If that was the case, why are they fighting it so
hard?  The bottom line is they know when workers form a union they are stronger
and they don't like it.  So please, take a look at the other pages of the website and
watch the videos to learn more about the benefits of forming a union.
